BMC is a full replacement product assembly manufacturer, supplying directly to military distribution centers or OEM. Products come complete with certification as well as test results, making them ready for installation and use immediately.
We also provides in-house machining such as CNC mill, CNC lathe, threading, grinding, lapping, laser marking, and bead blasting. All components are assembled and tested for accordance with required product specifications. Full documentation, certification, and test results for all products ensure quality. Bahr Machine Company, Inc. was established as a machine shop April 1966 by Eduard Bahr. BMC was formed originally as a job shop machining quality parts and components for numerous customers spanning decades of commercial use. We have built our success upon a strong emphasis on quality, precision, and efficiency.
In the mid-1980s, Bahr Machine Company had changed its focus exclusively towards Military defense contracting with the United States Airforce. After obtaining all of the necessary Government certifications and approvals, BMC has formed a product line and successfully completed thousands of contracts with the United States Department of Defense. The original product line featured the hydraulic pressure relief valves, check valves, and differential pressure indicators, which are still being manufactured to this day. The BMC product line has since continued to grow, as we are always looking for new opportunities to supply the Department of Defense with quality products.
BMC produces complete part assemblies for replacement on any and all military based machinery. In house manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging ensure the quality of our products. Processing suppliers must furnish processing certifications to Bahr Machine Co. purchase order requirements, and shall not process any parts for which they are not certificated or approved. Acceptable quality system requirement are AC7004, ISO9001, or AS9100; Bahr Machine Co. may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements. Supplier must have the ability to ensure the adequacy of the special-process provided and provide Bahr Machine Co. the required documentation per purchase order requirements.

Material suppliers must furnish material certifications to Bahr Machine Co. purchase order requirements, and shall not supply material for which they are not certificated or approved. When noted on our purchase orders, raw material supplied must be USA domestic material. Acceptable quality system requirements are ISO9001, AS9100 or AS9120; Bahr Machine Co. may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements. The Supplier must have the ability to ensure the adequacy of the product provided and provide Bahr Machine Co. the required documentation per purchase order requirements.

For Machining and Manufacturing suppliers QA 1 - QA 12 are applicable. The Supplier must have the ability to ensure the adequacy of the product provided to Bahr Machine Co. and provide the required documentation per purchase order requirements.
Calibration and Testing suppliers must furnish calibration/test reports to Bahr Machine Co. purchase order requirements, and be traceable to the specific equipment or item for which they are calibrating or testing, traceability to NIST and/or other national or international standards must be supplied. ISO9001, ISO 17025, Nadcap testing, ANSI Z540, and/or Nvlap accreditation will be the quality system requirements; Bahr Machine Co. may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements.
